We are seeking motivated Maintenance Mechanics to keep our production lines running smoothly and safely. Key Responsibilities
+ Perform preventative maintenance (PMs) on assigned equipment daily.
+ Troubleshoot and repair production lines to ensure equipment is in proper working order.
+ Assist other departments (Production, Quality, etc.) when needed.
+ Set up, inspect, and test machinery to verify safe and efficient operation.
+ Diagnose mechanical issues by observing, listening, and reviewing operational variations.
+ Dismantle, repair, and reassemble equipment as needed.
+ Lubricate and maintain gears, shafts, bearings, and other moving parts.
+ Support facility maintenance and structural repairs as required.
+ Follow all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout, and comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
+ Maintain accurate reports and documentation.
+ Participate in ISO 14001 environmental compliance activities.
+ Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
+ High school diploma or GED with 1+ years of industrial mechanical maintenance experience, **or** 4+ years of direct experience in a mechanical or food manufacturing environment.
+ Vocational/technical diploma or associate degree in mechanical maintenance (preferred).
+ Working knowledge of hydraulics, electrical and electronic systems, general maintenance, and welding (TIG, MIG).
+ Ability to work independently or as part of a team while collaborating with contractors and plant staff.
+ Skilled in operating forklifts, scissor lifts, or other powered industrial equipment.
+ Strong ability to follow verbal/written instructions, read and interpret manuals, and complete work orders.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
+ Work may involve exposure to wet/humid conditions, temperature extremes, moving machinery, airborne particles, and chemicals.
+ Noise levels may vary from moderate to loud.
+ Must regularly lift/move up to 50 lbs (with buddy system or lifting equipment) and occasionally up to 75 lbs.
+ Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and reaching required.
+ Must have visual acuity for close and distance work, along with manual dexterity for handling tools and equipment.
**Pay Details:** $27.00 to $36.00 per hour
