Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is working with our client in Mount Kisco, NY to hire a Phlebotomist for their medical facility.

Job Title:** **Phlebotomist

**Location:** Mount Kisco, NY 10549

**Schedule:** Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM; Rotational Saturdays, 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM

**Employment Type:** Full-Time

**Dress Code:** Navy Blue Scrubs

**Travel Requirement:** Occasional travel to Katonah or Yorktown draw stations; may be required to travel midday to a second site for coverage

**Pay Range:** $22-24.34/hour

Responsibilities Include:

+ Perform venipunctures and capillary collections on patients of all ages, including pediatric through geriatric.

+ Verify patient identity using at least two patient identifiers per SOP.

+ Ensure accurate labeling and barcoding of specimens.

+ Centrifuge, aliquot (pour off), and prepare lab specimens for transport.

+ Accurately accession specimens into the laboratory system.

+ Prepare packing lists and package specimens at the correct temperature according to guidelines.

+ Maintain compliance with all **Phlebotomy SOPs, OSHA safety guidelines, and PPE protocols** .

+ Communicate effectively and compassionately with patients to ease anxiety during collection procedures.

+ Maintain a clean and organized workstation and ensure all equipment is properly sanitized and stored.

+ Provide occasional coverage at nearby draw stations (Katonah, Yorktown) as needed.

+ Support operational flow between multiple draw stations within a single shift if required.

Required Qualifications:

+ High School Diploma or equivalent

+ Phlebotomy Certification (preferred)

+ Ability to draw blood from patients of all ages

+ Strong attention to detail and adherence to specimen handling protocols

+ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
