    Fund Accountant / Senior Fund Accountant – Venture Capital Finance

    The Role

     

    You’ll support the Controller in managing fund operations, working closely with external administrators and service providers. This position focuses on review and oversight, giving you room to engage in more strategic and complex accounting tasks.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Review fund administrator reports (NAV, investor statements)

    + Perform cash management, trade allocations, and reconciliations

    + Prepare performance, risk, and regulatory reports

    + Assist with audits, tax filings, and financial statements

    + Maintain internal controls and compliance processes

    + Liaise with brokers, administrators, and other partners

    + Contribute to special projects and system improvements

    Requirements

    Qualifications

    + 2–5 years of fund accounting experience (audit, tax, fund admin, or in-house)

    + Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance

    + Strong Excel skills and ability to work with large data sets

    + Familiarity with U.S. GAAP for investment companies

    + Detail-oriented, analytical, and a self-starter

    + Excellent communication and organizational skills

    + Partnership tax knowledge is a plus
