This one of a kind downtown Dallas Law Firm is searching for you if you are a highly motivated Business Litigation Paralegal! If you have experience supporting your attorneys with commercial litigation matters and enjoy playing a key role in case management and trial preparation, don't let this position get away from you! Here are some of your main responsibilities:

• Assist attorneys with all phases of litigation, including case intake, discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation

• Draft, proofread, and format legal documents such as pleadings, subpoenas, discovery requests/responses, and correspondence

• Manage case files and maintain organized electronic and physical records

• Coordinate and manage document production, including e-discovery platforms and databases

• Conduct factual and legal research under attorney supervision

• Prepare deposition summaries, chronologies, and trial binders

• File documents with state and federal courts, including e-filing

• Track deadlines and manage litigation calendars

• Communicate with clients, court personnel, and opposing counsel professionally and effectively

• Support attorneys during hearings, depositions, and trials as needed

Requirements

Qualifications:

• A minimum of ten (7) years of paralegal experience in business litigation in a law firm environment

• A Bachelor’s degree; and Paralegal Certificate are highly preferred

• Experience with complex case management and high-volume document review, Intellectual Property Litigation is a bonus but not required

• Familiarity with trial preparation and courtroom procedures

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and litigation support software

• Strong understanding of court rules and procedures (state and federal)

• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Professional demeanor and ability to maintain confidentiality

• Team-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving
