    Position Summary

    The Senior Analyst, CSR & Sustainability, will support the execution of CVS Health’s sustainability strategy, with a focus on managing operational impacts (e.g., plastics, waste, and materials) and contributing to climate-related programs. This role will collaborate across business units to activate programs, manage pilot projects, and support performance tracking, while also coordinating regular connection with business teams to sustainability strategy.

     

    Knowledge of packaging and retail or supply chain operations will be essential to this role. The Senior Analyst, CSR & Sustainability will support compliance-related needs that impact our materials strategy to ensure alignment with our approach, including EPR and other regulatory impacts.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Project manage and support activation of sustainability programs and pilots with cross-functional teams

    + Coordinate business partner engagements, including meeting logistics and briefing materials

    + Support plastics and materials impact reporting, data collection and governance processes and analysis in collaboration with sustainability data and reporting teams

    + Support Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) compliance in alignment with the materials strategy

    + Serve as a subject matter resource on plastics, waste, and materials impacts

    + Monitor emerging trends and regulations related to sustainability and materials

    + Develop reports, presentations, and briefing documents to support alignment and decision-making

    + Participate in external stakeholder initiatives (e.g., Beyond the Bag Consortium, ReSource: Plastic)

    + Conduct research on industry trends, standards, and regulations

    Required Qualifications

    + Professional experience, preferably in sustainability, corporate responsibility, other environmental/social impact work, retail operations, packaging, or supply chain operations.

    + Attention to detail and commitment to deliver high-quality work product

    + Demonstrated experience building relationships and supporting cross-functional teams

    + Demonstrated proficiency in; Office 365; Teams, OneDrive, OneNote, PowerPoint, Project, Excel, Word, Outlook, Sharepoint, Concur, Ariba, Company Intranet and be able to navigate the web easily.

    + Ability to take on any additional tasks as directed by manager.

    + Ability to travel up to 5% of the time, as needed, per business needs.

    Preferred Qualifications

    + 3-5 years professional experience, preferably in sustainability, corporate responsibility, other environmental/social impact work, or communications.

    + Some experience or knowledge of key sustainability reporting frameworks, including but not limited to GRI, TCFD, and SASB.

    + Experience supporting or managing intricate projects

    + Strong oral and written communicator

    + Ability to create relationships across a matrixed organization

    + Ability to interface with cross-functional, mid-level leaders with professionalism

    Education

    Bachelor's Degree preferred or a combination of education and relevant years of professional experience in the field.

    Pay Range

    The typical pay range for this role is:

    $46,988.00 - $112,200.00

     

    This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
