What you'll bring

We're looking for a dynamic and experienced engineering leader who can hit the ground running. Here's what you'll need:

+ 15+ years of experience in the software industry, with at least 5+ years in an executive leadership role building and scaling high-performing engineering teams.

+ 5+ years of recent, hands-on experience focused specifically on leading mobile engineering teams (iOS and Android) at scale.

+ A proven track record of developing and executing a successful technical strategy that resulted in high-quality, engaging mobile applications that drove significant business growth.

+ Deep understanding of the mobile ecosystems, modern mobile architecture, technologies (Swift, Kotlin, React Native), and best practices.

+ Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality SaaS and PaaS products/platforms serving millions of customers, leveraging AI to innovate and transform product experiences.

+ Exceptional ability to partner with and influence senior leaders across Product Management, Design, and business functions to drive significant change.

+ Strong business acumen with an ability to make swift, informed decisions and successful trade-offs between short and long-term goals.

+ Experience in the FinTech, SaaS, or small business segment is a strong plus.

+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field; Master's degree is a bonus.

How you will lead

This is a high-impact role where you'll own the end-to-end technical strategy and execution for the QuickBooks Mobile platform. Here’s a snapshot of what you'll be doing:

+ **Technology Strategy & Vision:** Lead the technical strategy for the QuickBooks Mobile platform. Drive the target state technical architecture for durable, scalable, and delightful mobile capabilities on both iOS and Android, leveraging AI-powered solutions to deliver transformative customer benefit.

+ **Execution and Delivery:** Lead a high-performing engineering organization to deliver on the product roadmap with quality and speed. Oversee the entire development lifecycle from technical design through launch and iteration, ensuring timely delivery and exceptional quality.

+ **Operational Excellence:** Champion and elevate operational standards for the mobile platform, making our app more secure, available, scalable, resilient, and performant. Inspire team innovation to ensure we deliver quality at speed.

+ **Boundary-less Leadership:** Partner seamlessly with your counterparts in Product Management, Design, and Data Science to bring the product vision to life. Foster a collaborative environment to ensure we are building the right solutions for our customers.

+ **People Leadership:** Recruit, coach, and grow a team of talented and passionate mobile engineers and managers. Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and engineering excellence.

+ **Innovate for the Future:** Stay abreast of the latest trends and innovations in the mobile ecosystem. Identify and champion opportunities to leverage new technologies that can create step-changes in customer experience and business value.

Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is:

Bay Area California $ 297,000.00 - 402,000.00This position will be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs (see more about our compensation and benefits at Intuit®: Careers | Benefits).Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location.
