Description

The Department of Orthopedic Surgery at UCLA Health is seeking a full-time Clinic Manager to oversee the operations of our Spine Center. In this role, you will oversee business and patient care functions, supervise front and back office staff, and ensure smooth coordination of clinical services. Key responsibilities include:

+ Provide daily administrative and operational oversight of the Spine Center

+ Partner with leadership on goal setting, budgeting, and quality improvement initiatives

+ Supervise and support clinic staff, including recruitment, training, and performance management

+ Manage patient flow, scheduling, registration, and referrals to ensure efficient, patient centered care

+ Collaborate with physicians, staff, and hospital departments to deliver seamless services

Salary range: $33.96/hr - $69.54/hrQualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (see below)Minimum 3 years of experience in a healthcare supervisory/managerial roleMinimum 5 years experience working in a clinical, health care settingProven experience in process improvement, change management and overall operational excellenceAbility to provide leadership, direction, motivation, development opportunities, and build high performing teamsKnowledge of medical and orthopedic terminologyDemonstrating the ability to work as part of a team for the good of the whole by supporting and adapting to departmental decisions and changes, maintaining positive interpersonal relations and good communicationsStrong quantitative and analytical skillsMust be proficient with Excel, have the ability to organize/analyze, import/export data in a structured mannerWorking knowledge of Windows based programs (Word, PowerPoint, Access, etc.)
