    We're looking for motivated actuarial professionals who are actively pursuing their ASA and meet the Rule of 5—at least 2 years of actuarial experience and 3 passed SOA exams (or any combination).     **Position Purpose:** Assist in financial analysis, pricing and risk assessment to estimate outcomes.

     

    In this Sr. Actuarial Analyst role, you will:

     

    + Support **Medicare Advantage bid development** , including preparing and reviewing PBP and bid pricing worksheets.

    + Perform financial analysis and actuarial modeling related to pricing, forecasting, and cost management.

    + Apply knowledge of mathematics, probability, statistics, principles of finance and business to calculate financial outcomes

    + Assist with developing probability tables based on analysis of statistical data and other pertinent information

    + Analyze and evaluate required premium rates

    + Develop and run data reports

    + Assist with determining the equitable basis for distributing money for insurance benefits

    + Performs other duties as assigned

    + Complies with all policies and standards

    Highly preferred:

    + Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to synthesize findings into business recommendations.

    + Excellent communication skills, with ability to explain technical results to non-technical stakeholders.

    + _Power BI or other BI tools, SAS for analytics, VBA._

    Education/Experience:

    + Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience.

    Pay Range: $68,700.00 - $123,700.00 per year

Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law, including full-time or part-time status. Total compensation may also include additional forms of incentives. Benefits may be subject to program eligibility.
