    Boeing Global Services (BGS) is looking for a **Tool and Die Maker - CNC Operator** to join our SAMC Back Shop team in **San Antonio, TX** .

    Position Responsibilities:

    + Set up and operate CNC milling machines.

    + Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.

    + Select and install appropriate tooling and fixtures.

    + Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency.

    + Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC equipment.

    + Conduct quality inspections using precision measuring instruments.

    + Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize processes.

    + Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

    + Document production data and maintain accurate records.

    Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

    + 5+ years of experience as a CNC Machinist

    + 5+ years of experience in operating CNC machines (milling, turning, etc.)

    + 5+ years of experience in G-code programming and CNC controls

    + Ability to lift up to 30 pounds

    + Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks

    + Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination working with small parts

    + Strong computing skills, excellent communication skills and customer-oriented

    + Ability to work a variable shift (1st or 2nd)

    Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

    + Experience with CAD/CAM/CATIA software

    + Attention to detail and problem-solving skills

    + Ability to work independently and as part of a team

    Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

     

    Summary Starting Pay Rate: $68,700 / $33.03 per hour

    Additive Pay:

    $1.00/hourly for Airframe Certification

     

    $1.00/hourly for Powerplant Certification
