    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

    We are seeking a Sr Electrical Engineer to join a leading supplier of avionic-standard aircraft communications, navigation, and audio/intercom systems. This role will be responsible for leading troubleshooting and repair efforts for RF CCAs.

    Responsibilities:

    * Troubleshoot and repair RF CCAs down to the component level, identifying root causes of failures in both analog and digital domains.

    * Document failure modes found in troubleshooting for use in product improvement / re-spin efforts.

    * Develop troubleshooting methods for use by manufacturing engineering and quality to create work standards.

    * Perform RF testing, tuning, and alignment of assemblies using spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, oscilloscopes, and other specialized test equipment.

    * Collaborate with design engineering to provide feedback on recurring issues, design improvements, and corrective actions.

    * Create failure analysis (FA) reports and documentation for internal teams and customers.

    * Partner with manufacturing and quality teams to resolve production issues and improve first-pass yield.

    * Conduct detailed circuit analysis, signal integrity evaluation, and component characterization as needed.

    Software/Tools Used:

    * Test Equipment: oscilloscopes, network analyzers

    * IPC standards

    * FAA/EASA Certification requirements

    * MIL-STD test practices

    * 8D, FMEA
