About the Firm:

Our client is a boutique law firm based in New York City, focusing on international and domestic corporate and litigation matters.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a Paralegal with at least 2 years of litigation experience to support our attorneys in a variety of commercial litigation matters in New York State and Federal courts, as well as in litigation involving other U.S. and foreign jurisdictions and arbitration.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Draft notices, discovery requests, certificates, and other routine legal documents for attorney review

+ E-file documents in state and federal courts

+ Conduct factual research and basic legal research independently

+ Perform cite-checking and proofreading of legal briefs

+ Assist attorneys during court appearances and trials

+ Prepare exhibits for depositions, trials, and hearings

+ Organize case binders and materials for various proceedings

+ Communicate with court personnel across jurisdictions

+ Review, organize, and prepare documents for production

Requirements

Qualifications:

+ Minimum 2 years of experience in litigation

+ Strong organizational and multitasking skills

+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills

+ Detail-oriented and resourceful in research tasks

+ Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team

+ Capable of prioritizing multiple projects and meeting deadlines

+ Understanding of Spanish (fluency not required)

+ Fast learner with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
