    Description

    Management Resources is seeking an Accounting Manager for a contract to hire opportunity in Frisco. As the Accounting Manager you will support financial management by overseeing accounting tasks, assisting with evaluating internal accounting processes, implementing improvements as needed to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Set up projects, prepare billing, and post payments to Tracker Suite

    + Prepare reports for Project Managers, analyzing project profitability, and tracking remaining PO balances

    + Prepare domestic payroll (semi-monthly and monthly) for review by the Controller

    + Perform final review and processing of expense reports for entry in payroll platform

    + Prepare and file state payroll reports monthly/quarterly as needed

    + Prepare census data for 401(k) Annual Compliance Testing

    + Prepare monthly journal entries for employee benefit plans

    + Reconcile employee benefit transaction within QuickBooks

    + Assist the Controller with preparation of schedules and reports related to annual external financial statement review

    + Perform account reconciliations quarterly or as requested by the Controller

    + Process accounts payable and consultant invoices in QuickBooks

    + Initiate direct deposit/wire transfer payments to consultants, employees and vendors

    + Verify project number for coding and process vendor invoices accurately

    Requirements

    + Bachelor’s in Accounting; CPA designation is highly preferred

    + At least 10 years of accounting experience, including a minimum of 5 years in roles with progressive responsibility

    + Accounting experience with international transactions and currency conversion

    + Experience with ADP software, payroll highly desired

    + Proficient with QuickBooks Enterprise Pro, desktop version

    + Proficiency with fixed asset management software programs
