As a valued member of Bishop Site team, you will report to the Packaging, Loading & Shipping (PLS) Supervisor. You will be responsible for all aspects of personal safety, product quality, and chemical unloading. Your commitment to workplace safety will be critical as you will be responsible for proper compliance around safety procedures such as Safe Work, management of change, and incident reporting/investigation.

During your day shift as a Warehouse Chemical Loader, you will

+ Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and general housekeeping guidelines along with rules for FDA manufacturing plant

+ Follow all SOPs for Chemical loader, such as: wearing appropriate PPE as defined for each chemical, escort in drivers at their appointment time, sample and unload approved chemicals into chemical storage tanks.

+ Ensuring standards of safety, environmental, team and individual performance are met in a high-performance team-based organization.

+ Train new employees on unit activities.

+ Perform chemical unloading of trucks and railcars per DOT and HAZWOP training

If you...

+ Hold a high school diploma or GED

+ Possess a valid driver's license

+ Are able to lift up to 50lbs, wear a respirator and other physical activities.

+ Have good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

+ Bring good communication and teamwork skills

+ Demonstrate flexibility and openness to change; are results driven, detail oriented, dependable, and safety conscious.

+ Preferrably have good understanding of ISO, GMP and FDA guidelines, as well as DOT and HAZWOP training.
