    Hours and Location:

    + This pharmacy serves the local community **Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.**

    + We are located at **9372 US-165, Woodworth, LA 71485.**

    As a Pharmacist-In-Charge on the Specialty Pharmacy team at Omnicell, you’ll work at the top of your license, contribute to a community’s well-being, and lead the pharmacy team. With autonomy, you’ll drive efficient, effective, and continually improving pharmacy operations, while being a part of a global organization dedicated to innovation in medication management.

     

    + Provide exceptional and personalized patient care and pharmacy consulting services; advise and guide with empathy, confidentiality, and diligence

    + Build effective relationships with local physicians and medical community to ensure accurate and safe dispensing of medication to patients

    + Business acumen and leadership; own pharmacy operations and embrace continual improvement, learning, and leading to provide the best possible patient care and empower the pharmacy team’s development

    + Stay informed of regulations, retail pharmacy best practices, and knowledge of specialty diseases such as Autoimmune, Oncology, Hepatitis C, HIV, and more

    + Clinical oversight and industry innovation; committee member participation as Omnicell leads innovation in medication management and elevates the roles of the pharmacist in healthcare

    What You’ll Bring

    Basic Qualifications:

    + Pharm.D. or BS Pharmacy degree from an accredited college of pharmacy

    + Successful completion of state pharmacy board examination

    + Pharmacist license current and in good standing

    + Up-to-date on all continuing education requirements

    + 1+ years of experience in the practice of pharmacy

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + 3+ years of practice of pharmacy

    + Two to three years of experience in pharmacy management

    + Experience with the 340B program

    Work Environment and Physical Demands:

    + Able to work daily at listed site.

    + Able to work during the Pharmacy's Operational Hours.

    + This position is moderately active and requires standing, walking, and other movement for the duration of the shift and lifting up to 25 pounds

    + While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear

    + Ability to see distinctions in colors and shapes
