    Looking to begin your imaging career? UPMC Presbyterian is hiring a full-time MRI/CT Tech Assistant to support our MRI department on night shift. This role offers a steady schedule of four 10-hour shifts (8:00 PM - 6:30 AM) and a great perk-on-site parking in the Presbyterian garage with a lease!

    What You'll Do:

    + Greet patients, assist with paperwork, and answer scheduling or history questions

    + Escort patients, provide dressing assistance, and conduct MRI screenings for safety

    + Assist with patient transfers, positioning, and preparation for scans

    + Establish IV access and prepare oral contrast under technologist direction

    + Provide discharge instructions and patient care support during exams

    + Help maintain exam rooms, equipment, and quality control procedures

    + Support safe, efficient, and compassionate patient care every step of the way

    + High school diploma or equivalent required.

    + At least one-year of previous healthcare experience required.

    + Medical terminology and recent medical/imaging office experience preferred. IV insertion experience preferred. Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:

    + CPR required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire

    + Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)

    + Act 34
