    Function of Position:

    Monroe Community College is seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to temporarily support the Health Professions Department. This part-time role will assist with essential administrative tasks and provide support to faculty, staff, and students.

     

    *This is a temporary position that may be renewed annually contingent upon availability of college budget and performance reviews.

    Examples of Duties & Responsibilities:

    + Provide general administrative support to the Department Chair and faculty

    + Assist with scheduling meetings and maintaining departmental files

    + Support student registration and documentation processes

    + Coordinate basic supply orders and requisitions

    + Help with communication between the department and other college offices

    + Assist with onboarding documentation for new hires

    + Provide clerical support for faculty

    + Other duties as assigned

    Job Requirements:

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computer skills

    + Strong organizational and communication abilities

    + Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently

    + Experience in an academic or office setting

    + Bilingual and able to read, write, and speak Spanish, or other languages, proficiently

    Additional Information:

    Hours/Pay: 20 hours per week, $22 hourly

     

    Prohibition of Remote Work Outside New York State: Remote work locations outside New York State are not authorized by the College due to out-of-state tax and regulatory implications. In limited circumstances, prompted by business or operational needs, the College may approve requests to work remotely outside of New York State, on a short term, temporary basis.
