    Job Description:

    • Analyze rules flow diagrams and detailed requirements to ensure complete understanding of the rule(s) that need to be created

    • Populate the Excel based template with the information required to create the rule using the domain specific language that will be converted to a JSON format

    • Identify problems and make recommendations on how to overcome the issue

    • Develop unit tests using Cucumber to test all possible outcomes of the rule

    • Provide support to the QA team and address problems if they arise

    • Communicates and collaborate effectively, written and orally, across all levels within the organization

    Skills and Requirements

    Must Haves:

    • 3-5 years experience in Java

    • Experience with Cucumber testing for unit tests

    • Experience with JSON file format

    • Experience with Microsoft applications, specifically Excel and Visio

    • Exhibit strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills with a knack for proactively identifying and resolving technical issues

    • Possess good communication and documentation skills through clearly written, concise, and comprehensive documentation

    • Intermediate knowledge of Medicare, Auto Fee Schedule, and Reasonable Fee Payment methodology Plusses:

    • IntelliJ Experience

    • Postgres and MSSQL experience

    o Experience with querying postgres tables

    • Content Development Experience in a healthcare environment

    • Experience working with or around Business Rules Engines within a Business Process Management System - DROOLs/Java Experience

    • Knowledge of or experience in Medical coding

     

    o Rules engine does medical bill review, and they develop the recommended reimbursment
