Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Sales Representative to join an industrial cutting/welding company in Birmingham, AL. This role is responsible for driving sales growth by calling on welding distributors, visiting retail stores, and occasionally engaging with industrial melters. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of welding products and processes, excellent communication skills, and a passion for building long-term customer relationships.
Salary: $65,000-$80,000 base salary
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain relationships with welding distributors across the assigned territory.
• Conduct regular store visits to promote Oxylance products, provide training, and support merchandising efforts.
• Occasionally visit industrial melters to understand their needs and identify opportunities for product application.
• Execute sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets.
• Provide product demonstrations and technical support as needed.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform sales tactics.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities in CRM systems.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and timely delivery of products.

Skills and Requirements
• 2+ years of experience in sales, preferably in welding, industrial, or manufacturing sectors.
• Strong knowledge of welding products and applications.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to travel within the region as required.
• Self-motivated with strong organizational and time-management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools. • Experience working with welding distributors or industrial clients.
