Job Description

A customer is seeking a fully remote Virtulization Engineer.

- Managing VMware infrastructure and its underlying hardware platforms

- Manage VMware vRealize Automation (VRA) - design, implement, and manage the VMware Aria Automation (VRA) platform, which includes blueprints, custom properties, and workflows,

- Managing security around VMware’s vSphere environment

- Managing capacity of ESXi clusters

- Working with hardware and VMware vendors on tactical as well as strategic levels

- Working with datacenter personnel to resolve connectivity and/or hardware issues as necessary

- Can pay $55-60/h

Skills and Requirements

- 7+ years of previous Virtualization experience.

- VMware vSphere, VMware vROPs, general network concepts & principles IPv4/IPv6, LAN, vLANs

- Experience in VMware Technology Stack, including vSphere, vCenters, ESXi, vROPs, vRealizeAutomation, vRealizeOrchestrator and vCloudDirector

- VMware engineering support
