### Job Duties

This job is located at Cornerstone Nursing and Rehab Center in Bagley MN.

The Charge Nurse provides leadership, oversight, and direct nursing care to residents in a long-term care facility. This role ensures quality care, supervises nursing staff (CNAs, TMAs, and other direct care staff), and coordinates with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate resident care in accordance with nursing standards and state/federal regulations.

Supervise, direct, and support CNAs/TMAs to ensure resident needs are met.

Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.

Monitor residents for changes in condition, document appropriately, and communicate with physicians and families.

Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and resident rights policies.

Participate in care conferences, staff training, and quality improvement initiatives.

Act as the on-shift leader for assigned unit, resolving issues and escalating concerns as needed.

### Minimum Education Required

Valid RN or LPN license from an accredited, approved school of nursing and in good standing.

Previous experience with geriatric residence
