Job Requirements:

The Manufacturing Operator II position is responsible for set-up of all machinery on shop floor on 2nd shift. Able to operate all presses and/or CDCH coating lines in compliance with the company’s standards.

Responsibilities:

+ Responsible to set-up and change over production machinery including die set-up and material changes.

+ Responsible for continuous operation of machinery in order to eliminate any unnecessary downtime.

+ Able to operate all presses and/or CDCH coating operations consisting of prep, coating, sheet separating, and de-framing of gaskets while also maintaining rate that is part specific.

+ Able to troubleshoot manufacturing issues in order to maintain quality standards.

+ Responsible to make sure each machine is stocked with material throughout the shift.

+ Assist tooling personnel in correcting any potential issues with a die.

+ Able to provide light maintenance on machines or a die including by not limited to oiling and greasing.

+ Responsible to complete all paperwork, documentation, and BPCS transactions accurately and timely.

+ Responsible to assist in general housekeeping of the department.

+ Responsible to adhere to all company safety policies and procedures while also maintaining a safe work environment at all times.

+ Performs other duties or special projects as required or as assigned.

Other:

+ Must adhere to all company and location policies and safety rules.

+ Must be able to work extended hours when required.

+ All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications/ Experience:

+ Manufacturing experience a plus.

+ Strong written and verbal communication skills.

+ Basic math skills.

+ Highly motivated.

+ Strong time management and priorities management skills.

+ Analytical and problem-solving skills.

+ Computer literate with knowledge of Excel. BPCS experience a plus.

+ Ability to interact with vendors and internal customers.

+ Metrics driven.
