Position Summary...
What you'll do...
Walmart’s Accelerated Pickup & Delivery Assortment Strategy and Execution team is responsible for delivering the assortment selection strategy needed to implement and extract value from automated solutions in the back of our stores. This team works with a high amount of cross-functional partners across APD Product, Operations, Merchandising, and Replenishment to bring this solution to life. This team leads the charge to merge current processes and software with automation processes and software to improve customer and associate experience.
The Senior Manager, Assortment Execution, will be the owner of the day-to-day assortment execution for the APD program. This position will be an expert in understanding the current state of the APD assortment, identifying root causes of issues, and driving continuous improvement. You will work closely with Merchandising, APD Product, Replenishment, and Operational partners to ensure the assortment aligns with our strategic and compliance standards.
This role will report to the Director, Product Management and is based in Bentonville, Arkansas.
What You'll Do...
+ Lead the execution of the APD assortment strategy, including monitoring and analyzing performance to identify and resolve issues.
+ Document processes, provide training to relevant stakeholders, and support change management efforts as the program evolves.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize the assortment, leveraging data analytics and identifying new opportunities.
+ Partner with our AI development team to pilot new solutions, provide feedback on AI tool effectiveness, and champion the adoption of AI-driven processes.
+ Ensure data quality for AI models, maintain transparency in AI-driven recommendations, and continuously upskill to maximize the value of AI in assortment execution.
+ Own and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the success of execution initiatives and ensure alignment with broader business objectives.
What You'll Bring...
+ Strong analytical skills with experience in monitoring and analyzing business performance to identify root causes of issues.
+ Subject Matter Expertise in supply chain flows, store operations, or merchandising, with a solid understanding of assortment selection processes.
+ Experience in documenting and training on new processes and supporting change management efforts.
+ A proven track record of collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business value.
+ Experience leveraging data analytics and AI/ML tools to solve problems and optimize processes.
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present information and gain alignment across multiple stakeholders.
+ A proactive and innovative mindset, with a continuous focus on improving processes and solving complex problems.

The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00-$220,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Minimum Qualifications...

years’ experience in Engineering, supply chain, or a related area.
