Introduction
Join the IBM Infrastructure team as a Global Business Operations & Project Coordinator, supporting the strategic and operational success of our Power Hybrid Cloud initiatives.
This role is designed for recent graduates who are passionate about finance, data, process optimization, and global collaboration.
Your role and responsibilities
You’ll play a key role in supporting business operations—especially around forecasting, budgeting, and resource tracking —while also contributing to the coordination of IBM Power projects. This is a launchpad for a career that blends analytical rigor with cross-functional teamwork in a fast-paced enterprise environment.
What You’ll Focus On
Business Operations & Financial Analysis
* Assist in forecasting and budget planning across multiple initiatives
* Support global business operations by maintaining and analyzing key performance metrics
* Collaborate with finance, delivery, and product teams to ensure alignment on cost, resource allocation, and timelines
* Document and refine business processes to improve efficiency and transparency
* Build and maintain spreadsheets dashboards, and reporting tools to track financial and operational information
IBM Power Project Coordination
* Help coordinate IBM Power Hybrid Cloud projects under the guidance of senior managers
* Prepare visual updates and reports for stakeholders and leadership
* Participate in cross-functional meetings and contribute to project documentation and follow-ups
* Support post-project reviews and help implement lessons learned
Required technical and professional expertise
Required Skills:
* Basic understanding of finance
* Resource tracking (people, budgets, tools)
* Budget vs. actuals tracking and variance analysis
* Basic project management (planning, forecasting, coordination)
* Problem-solving and critical thinking
* Clear and professional communication
* Time management and ability to prioritize
* Strong Excel skills (spreadsheets, dashboards, reporting)
Preferred technical and professional experience
* Experience with budgeting and forecasting
* Process documentation and improvement
