The Toxicology Review Officer Assistant III supports the Medical Review Officer (MRO) by managing drug and alcohol testing records, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations, and assisting with accurate, timely reporting.

Qualifications
+ Education: High School Diploma or GED, required. 2 Year / Associate Degree, preferred.
+ Experience:
+ One year experience in occupational health, toxicology, or compliance-related setting, preferred.
+ One year Knowledge of DOT drug and alcohol testing regulations; chain-of-custody procedures. preferred.
+ Licensure/Certification:
+ MROCC certification (Must be completed within 3 months of hire), required.
+ Additional Skills (required):
+ Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing.
+ Ability to work independently without supervision and self-manage.
+ Evaluate statistical information and make sound judgements.
+ High energy with strong verbal and written communication skills.
+ Ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of individuals and constituencies among a diverse population.
+ Have a passion for health improvement and be able to communicate case sensitive material to participants and team members.
+ Ability to develop, plan and implement short-term and long-range goals.
+ Attention to detail
+ Organizational skills
+ Strong technical/computer literacy
+ Ability to coordinate with laboratories, collection sites, employers, and employees while maintaining strict confidentiality.
+ Additional Skills (preferred):
+ Knowledge of healthcare policies, procedures, and regulatory standards
+ Knowledge of customer / employer focus efforts
+ Ability and willingness to work in an evolving healthcare system
