Koniag IT Systems, a Koniag Government Services company **,** is seeking a Senior Researcher II with a TS/SCI clearance to support KITS and our government customer in Falls Church, VA.

Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:

+ Conduct independent research and analysis on adversary motivations, capabilities, and intent targeting DoD AI/Autonomy systems.

+ Prepare annual assessments, quarterly updates, and tailored intelligence products for CDAO leadership.

+ Support program protection activities, including identifying vulnerabilities in vendors, supply chains, and IT systems.

+ Contribute to the development of Program Protection Plans and Security Classification Guides.

+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate findings into actionable recommendations.

+ Develop and brief strategic disclosure implementation plans supporting joint competition and warfighter integration.

+ Oversee and validate deliverables such as Program Protection Plans, Counterintelligence Support Plans, and annual strategic assessments.

+ Performs monitoring and analysis of threat intelligence monitoring tool services, product contracts and relationships.

+ Assists in the evaluation, development, testing, and implementation of emerging data access control technologies and information systems security issues, safeguards and techniques

+ Maintains current knowledge of tools and best-practices in advanced persistent threats.

+ Regularly develops and produces succinct written intelligence reports constructed from technical analysis and collected threat information for client internal consumers.

+ Tracks potential threats associated with attempted intrusions and network and host-based attacks, and coordinates incident response efforts with cyber security teams.

Work Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Education/Experience:

+ Bachelor’s degree (Master’s degree preferred) or equivalent senior-level experience in International Security, Cybersecurity, Data Science, or Intelligence related fields.

+ 5–7 years of experience in all-source analysis, counterintelligence, or technology protection.

Knowledge & Skills:

+ Expertise in foreign AI/Autonomy threats, supply chain vulnerabilities, and adversary tactics.

+ Experience preparing formal annual assessments, quarterly updates, and senior-level briefings.

+ Skilled in Microsoft O365, SharePoint, and data visualization (Power BI).

Abilities:

+ Ability to lead small research teams and mentor junior staff.

+ Strong briefing skills with experience engaging senior DoD leadership.

Security Clearance requirement:

+ Must possess an active TS-SCI
