Shifts: 2nd Shift.

Employment Types: Full Time, Direct Hire, Long Term.

Pay Rate: $21.00 / hour

Duties:

+ Train and assist associates on performing preventive maintenance assignments.

+ Be able to perform machine set up, operate machinery in a safe manner, and ensure equipment safety features are in place and functioning properly.

+ Make sure scrap is recorded accurately and disposed of daily and Ensure rework is completed at end of day.

+ Make sure Down time is recorded accurately

+ Perform white board brainstorm meeting to reduce Downtime issue

+ Fill in for associates when necessary.

+ Understand and be able to operate and assist individual process stations on all equipment

+ Perform lock-out and tag-out (LOTO) procedures for clearing all equipment faults and restoring machine energy in accordance with established LOTO procedures.

+ Inform Team Leader or Production Manager of any and all quality / safety issues.

+ Accurate completion of paperwork and data entry

Position Requirements:

Education and/or Experience

+ High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and two years manufacturing experience

Competencies

+ Leadership and decision-making skills

+ Strong interpersonal skills and good verbal and written communication skills

Computer Skills

+ To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Excel, Microsoft Office Word and Microsoft Outlook.

+ Knowledge of Pareto Charts.

Requirements: Background Check, Drug Test, Must be at least 18 years old., required education: HS Diploma or GED.
