Overview

Colliers Engineering & Design is looking for a Land Development Department Manager who will p erform duties in support of the direction and vision of the overall civil/site land development discipline in Maitland, FL. Oversee, direct, and manage the work effort of assigned staff. Oversee the professional development of the assigned staff.

Responsibilities

+ Reviews and manages operations to ensure the quality of the technical products

+ Establishes effective long-range objectives, goals, and plans for assigned team

+ Provides technical and management leadership to the assigned team

+ Develops marketing program in conjunction with discipline goals

+ Advises and assists professionals in other groups when expert knowledge and expertise is required

+ Manages activities so an adequate profit is earned on all projects

+ Reviews monthly productivity and man-hour utilization-rates, reports and makes adjustments as needed

+ Assigns projects to staff and schedules work

+ Evaluate Employee Performance in accordance with company policy

+ Oversees assigned staff development and advancement

Qualifications

+ Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering

+ 12+ years in related field

+ Professional licensure in area of expertise

+ Demonstrated effective leadership across large groups of employees

+ Strategic thinking

+ Effective delegation skills

+ Collaboration

+ Ability to hold others accountable

+ Ability to read, write and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions
