    Overview

     

    The Software Engineer, Mid will design, develop, test, and maintain scalable software applications while collaborating with cross functional teams.

     

    This position performs all duties and responsibilities in accordance with the Mission, Vision, and Core Values of Cayuse.

    Responsibilities

    + Build APEX pages, workflows, dashboards, and reports to implement MVP features.

    + Contribute to schema design, data modeling, and normalization.

    + Develop SQL & PL/SQL code optimized for performance and maintainability.

    + Assist with data migration mapping, ETL, and validation.

    + Support application deployments, upgrades, and release cycles.

    + Implement secure coding practices, validations, and role-based access.

    + Document developed modules and participate in peer reviews.

    + Participate actively to Agile ceremonies.

    + Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    + 4 Year Degree Information Technology or related field or Equivalent Experience.

    + 5+ years software development; 3+ years working with Oracle APEX.

    + Top Secret Security Clearance Required.

    + Experience supporting enterprise-scale applications (5k+ users minimum).

    + Strong background in database design and data normalization.

    + Familiarity with data migration (ETL) processes.

    + Experience supporting application deployments and upgrades.

    + Must be able to pass a background check. May require additional background checks as required by projects and/or clients at any time during employment.

    + Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately

    + Proficient in MS Office, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel.

    Working Conditions

    + Professional office environment.

    + Ability to work on-site in the National Capitol region.

    + Must be physically and mentally able to perform duties extended periods of time.

    + Ability to use a computer and other office productivity tools with sufficient speed to meet the demands of this position.

    + Must be able to establish a productive and professional workspace.

    + Must be able to sit for long periods of time looking at computer screen.

    + May be asked to work a flexible schedule which may include holidays.

    + May be asked to travel for business or professional development purposes.

    + May be asked to work hours outside of normal business hours.

    Pay Range

     

    USD $85,000.00 - USD $92,000.00 /Yr.
