    The vision of Gas Turbine Fuel Systems Division is to be the global leader in the design, development, manufacture, and service of engine fuel, lubrication, and thermal management systems and components for aerospace/defense and industrial applications. By leveraging our expertise in analysis, atomization, combustion, fluid metering, and control — coupled with enterprise excellence — we will exceed customer expectations and achieve our business objectives.

    Position Summary:

    The Supplier Development Specialist will facilitate continuous improvement initiatives and problem resolution of quality issues/opportunities with suppliers and monitor supplier’s performance against contractual obligations, scorecards, and key performance indicators.

    Responsibilities:

    + Manage supplier qualification and development activities to ensure compliance with aerospace standards (AS9100, NADCAP) and company requirements, balancing quality, cost, and delivery objectives for mechanical components.

    + Coordinate and communicate effectively with suppliers and internal teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging technical knowledge to support problem-solving and process optimization.

    + Lead supplier audits and on-site assessments, traveling frequently to supplier facilities to evaluate manufacturing processes, capacity, quality systems, and adherence to regulatory standards.

    + Oversee root cause analysis and corrective action implementation for supplier-related quality and delivery issues, ensuring timely resolution and prevention of recurrence through structured problem-solving methodologies.

    + Utilize software tools such as supplier portals, dashboards, and Net-Inspect to monitor supplier performance, document development activities, and maintain accurate records of quality and compliance data.

    + Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, quality, and procurement teams to support new product introductions, design changes, and supplier risk mitigation strategies, ensuring alignment with program schedules and customer requirements.

    Qualifications:

    + Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering , Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related technical discipline.

    + 3+ years of experience in supplier development, quality engineering, or supply chain roles within the aerospace or precision manufacturing industries, preferably with mechanical components. ASCM Certificate in Purchasing Management (CPIM) or (CSCP) desired.

    + Strong knowledge of aerospace quality standards such as AS9100, NADCAP, and FAA regulations, with hands-on experience in supplier audits and compliance assessments.

    + Proficiency in supplier management and quality software tools , such as Solumina, Net-Inspect, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.

    + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with suppliers, cross-functional teams, and senior management.

    + Demonstrated problem-solving skills with experience in root cause analysis techniques (e.g., 8D, Ishikawa, 5 Whys) and corrective action implementation.

    + Ability and willingness to travel frequently to supplier sites (domestic and potentially international) to support supplier development and audit activities.

    + Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple projects and supplier relationships simultaneously.

    + S elf-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic aerospace manufacturing environment.

     

    Competitive Compensation

     

    + Pay Range: $87,050 to $145,250 annually

    + Participation in Annual Incentive Program
