Job Title: Senior Estimator Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Estimator with over a decade of estimating experience, including at least five years in a Senior Estimator role and five years as a Project Manager concurrently with estimating responsibilities. This role requires expertise in preparing accurate cost estimates, analyzing project specifications, and managing bidding processes while overseeing project execution to ensure budget and timeline alignment. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting both Federal and Commercial construction projects.

Responsibilities

+ Prepare accurate cost estimates by analyzing project specifications.

+ Manage bidding processes and oversee project execution to ensure alignment with budget and timeline.

+ Support both Federal and Commercial construction projects.

+ Utilize project management tools and estimating software effectively.

+ Communicate and negotiate with stakeholders to ensure project success.

+ Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Skills

+ Over 10 years of estimating experience, with at least 5 years in a senior estimator role.

+ At least 5 years of project management experience, concurrently with estimating responsibilities.

+ Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, and cost structures.

+ Proficiency in estimating software and project management tools.

+ Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.

+ Experience with Commercial and Federal estimating.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Work Environment

This role involves working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, handling multiple projects at various stages of development. You will utilize advanced estimating software and project management tools to ensure efficient and effective project delivery. The position requires adaptability to both office settings and onsite visits, aligning with the demands of Federal and Commercial construction projects.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Antonio, Texas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $55.00/hr.
