    Job Title: Test Equipment Engineer

    Job Description

    In this Test Engineer role, the qualified candidate will design and support in-circuit test equipment for electronics within the Fort Wayne factory and other manufacturing sites. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing automated test solutions and ensuring the integration, maintenance, and configuration management of automated test hardware and software.

    Responsibilities

    + Implement automated test solutions on Acculogic Flying Probe, Keysight 3070, and Genrad 228x systems.

    + Integrate, maintain, and manage configuration of automated test hardware and software.

    + Initiate continuous improvement of electronic controls in response to test performance and yields.

    Essential Skills

    + In-circuit test development (flying probe and/or bed of nails).

    + Ability to analyze and debug electronic circuits (analog, digital, power, and communication).

    + Proficiency in using laboratory instrumentation (power supplies, multimeters, oscilloscopes).

    + Demonstrate critical thinking and problem-solving techniques.

    + Interpret and implement electronic test requirements to demonstrate product performance.

    + Read, edit, and integrate software.

    + Effective communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

    + Ability to multitask and manage priorities.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Experience with Acculogic FLS980 flying probe, Keysight 3070/Genrad 228x ICT systems, Xmatic CAD translation software.

    + Ability to program in environments such as Basic, VB.net, Python, UNIX.

    + Capability to automate instrumentation for production testing and/or fault diagnosis.

    + Experience in a test development/support role on third party in-circuit or functional test platforms.

    + Experience in a high-paced manufacturing environment.

    + Familiarity with statistical process control techniques and analytical tools (e.g. Six Sigma, Capability Analysis).

    Work Environment

    The role will be based in a dynamic manufacturing environment where the candidate will work with various technologies and equipment to support testing and development. The work hours align with standard business hours, and the dress code is business casual.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract position based out of Fort Wayne, Indiana.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr.
