Job Title: Structural Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will work under the supervision of a project manager and principal in charge, contributing to structural design, modeling, and field investigations. You'll collaborate closely with staff and partners, gaining hands-on experience in both office and field environments.

Responsibilities

+ Assist in structural design tasks under supervision.

+ Support CAD and Revit modeling efforts guided by staff.

+ Supervise drafting and perform backchecks of technical work.

+ Conduct structural assessments, damage investigations, and prepare technical reports.

+ Design structural repairs based on field findings.

+ Participate in site visits (~15% of time) in the Central FL region using your personal vehicle.

+ Perform light physical tasks including climbing ladders, navigating tight spaces, and carrying up to 20lbs of equipment

+ Experience in structural engineering and design.

+ Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with a structural concentration.

+ E.I.T. (Engineer in Training) certification.

+ Completion of Steel and Concrete Design courses.

+ Experience in damage investigation and forensic engineering.

+ Ability to write detailed technical reports.

Work Environment

Work involves both office and field settings, with some travel required within the Central FL region using your personal vehicle.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $120000.00/yr.
