    Job Title: Electrical Design Engineer

    Job Description

    This position involves the development of embedded systems, sensor technology, and low-level analog signal processing. The role requires proficiency in analog-to-digital conversion, low-level analog measurements amidst noise, and PCB layout for AC and DC signal integrity along with EMC. The engineer will engage in electromechanical design, system integration testing, and circuit design for EMC compliance.

    Responsibilities

    + Develop embedded systems and sensor technology.

    + Process low-level analog signals and perform analog-to-digital conversion.

    + Conduct low-level analog measurements in noisy environments.

    + Design PCB layouts ensuring AC and DC signal integrity as well as EMC compliance.

    + Engage in electromechanical design and system integration testing.

    + Design circuits to comply with EMC standards.

    Essential Skills

    + Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.

    + A minimum of 7 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a preference for over 10 years.

    + Proficiency in electrical and design engineering, including analog and digital circuits.

    + Experience with embedded systems, schematic design, and design for manufacturing.

    + Familiarity with Cadence, Altium, and ISO quality systems, particularly Design Controls/Product Realization.

    + Knowledge of circuit design, modeling, performance analysis (SPICE), and tradeoff analysis.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Experience in circuit testing throughout the product development lifecycle.

    + Design for production and EMC compliance.

    Work Environment

    The role is based at the headquarters in Loveland, Colorado, which boasts a new R&D building specifically designed for research and development. The work schedule includes summer hours of 4/9s onsite from Monday to Thursday, with a flexible 4-hour day on Friday. The team has an excellent culture with no turnover in over three years. The position offers relocation assistance.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $160000.00/yr.
