HIRING A MEDICAL ASSISTANT IN LONG ISLAND!!

Medical Assistant

Job Type: Full-Time & Part-Time (Contract – 6 Months)

Locations:

+ Riverhead, NY

+ Shirley, NY

+ Southampton, NY

Key Responsibilities

+ Take and record patient vital signs

+ Conduct patient intake: collect medical history, record symptoms, and escort patients to exam rooms

+ Prepare and stock examination rooms

+ Clean and sterilize instruments using autoclave

+ Set up rooms for procedures

+ Provide excellent customer service and professional communication

Required Qualifications

+ Completion of a Medical Assistant diploma program

+ Minimum 1 year of clinical experience as a Medical Assistant

+ Professional communication and customer service skills

+ Experience with EMR systems (Eclinical Works preferred)

+ Ability to work Monday–Friday, with flexibility for late nights and rotating weekends

Must-Have Skills:

+ Medical assisting (clinical)

+ Phlebotomy

+ Vital signs and patient care

+ EMR usage (ECW preferred)

+ Primary care support

Nice-to-Have Skills:

+ Front office experience

+ Certification credentials

+ Multispecialty experience

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
