Mechanical Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking a talented Mechanical Engineer to design plant layouts and material handling equipment. This role primarily involves creating P&IDs and integrating various components such as valves, feeders, pumps, and skids for both dried powders and liquids. You will also engage in part research and data list creation using AutoCAD 3D. As a pivotal team member, you will spend 80-90% of your time on AutoCAD 3D and related CAD duties.
Responsibilities
+ Design plant layouts and material handling equipment.
+ Work extensively with AutoCAD 2-D/3-D to create detailed fabrication, assembly, and construction documents.
+ Develop Data Lists, Data Sheets, Bill of Materials, Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams, General Arrangement Drawings, Site Layouts, Shop Assembly Drawings, and Field Assembly Drawings.
+ Review customer specifications and create or utilize existing design details and templates.
+ Transfer information from red-lines to CAD and maintain project drawings in line with company standards.
+ Proactively schedule meetings with Project Managers to provide updates and discuss project status.
+ Accompany the project team to sites, as needed, to obtain necessary dimensions and critical information for the design.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D and 3D.
+ Experience with P&ID and plant layout design.
+ Knowledge of material handling equipment.
+ Strong capability in creating data lists, cut sheets, and performing part research.
+ Ability to maintain project drawings within company standards.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Background in mechanical engineering with a focus on bulk material handling technologies.
+ Experience in heavy industrial sites is advantageous.
+ Strong communication skills for regular updates with project managers.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $110000.00/yr.
