    Lead Full Stack Developer

    Job Description

    We are seeking a Lead Full Stack Developer who will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, testing, implementing, and maintaining e-commerce and internal systems that impact both customers and colleagues. This position demands a dynamic individual who will act as both a technical and team leader, providing guidance on project direction, feasibility, and architectural decisions. You will drive a collaborative team culture and ensure high-quality code through effective team processes.

    Responsibilities

    + Guide project direction, feasibility, and architectural decisions as a technical and team leader.

    + Conduct regular 1:1s and quarterly meetings with developers to support growth, clarify priorities, and build alignment.

    + Ensure high-quality code and a collaborative team culture through effective team processes.

    + Track and support team accountability with weekly scorecards and performance metrics.

    + Identify opportunities for improving systems, processes, and tooling across the team.

    + Maintain and extend web infrastructure, including back-end databases, libraries, APIs, and shared tools.

    + Troubleshoot and solve challenging system issues for both customers and internal users.

    + Write and maintain comprehensive code documentation and team reference guides.

    + Be responsible for team performance, hiring, and career development.

    + Respond quickly to emergency issues during and outside of business hours, demonstrating accountability and ownership.

    + Take on other tasks and responsibilities as assigned.

    Essential Skills

    + 7-10 years of developer experience.

    + At least 3 years of leadership experience.

    + 7 years of PHP experience.

    + Current experience working in MySQL (at least within the past year).

    + Development experience working at or for an e-commerce client (within the past year).

    + 7 years of full-stack development experience.

    + Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.

    + Experience with Jira and Linux.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + 10+ years of experience in Web Development is preferred.

    + 7+ years of E-commerce experience is highly desirable.

    + 7+ years of technical leadership.

    + Mastery in PHP, MySQL/MSSQL.

    Work Environment

    This role requires on-site work for at least the first 30 days. After that, you will transition to a hybrid work schedule, coming onsite every Tuesday and Thursday. You will lead two current developers, dedicating 75% of your time to development and 25% to leadership tasks.     This is a Permanent position based out of Gilbert, Arizona.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $130000.00 - $150000.00/yr.

     

    100% paid medical and dental insurance - starts 1st of the month following 30 days of employmentWe also offer vision, life and disability17 PTO days to start - prorated from hire date through end of year401k matching at 1 year mark -- we match 100% on the first 3% contribution, and then 50% on the next 2%. So if they put it in 3%, we match that 100% (3%).
