    Job Title: CAD Draftsman Job Description

     

    We are seeking a skilled CAD Draftsman who is proficient in Civil 3D, land development, and stormwater management. The ideal candidate should be ready to start work immediately, as we require minimal training. You will work on various private projects, typically managing 1-2 larger projects alongside 3-5 smaller tasks.

    Responsibilities

    + Create detailed designs using AutoCAD Civil 3D for land development and stormwater management.

    + Handle grading, profiles, GIS, site development, and drainage design tasks.

    + Present projects confidently at local municipality meetings.

    + Ensure compliance with local zoning and subdivision ordinances.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in AutoCAD 3D and Civil 3D.

    + Experience in civil engineering, land development, and stormwater management.

    + Strong understanding of site development, site layout, and wastewater management.

    + PE/EIT certification is required.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in site design and drainage.

    + Familiarity with presenting at local municipality meetings.

    + Understanding of local zoning and subdivision ordinances.

    + Potential for future management roles for licensed professionals.

    Work Environment

    This role is based in a small office environment with a team of 8 people. The company offers paid PTO and holidays during the contract period, with 100% health insurance coverage for permanent employees and partial coverage for family members.     This is a Contract to Hire position based out of SHIREMANSTOWN, Pennsylvania.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
