Job Description

Seeking a highly skilled and motivated Test Engineer to join our research team, focusing on system integration, performance testing, and mechanical design. This role will be central to bridging experimental research with practical engineering implementation, ensuring that complex reactor systems and subsystems integrate seamlessly for reliable, safe, and scalable operation. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced research environment where cross-disciplinary collaboration is essential.

Responsibilities

+ Conduct system integration and performance testing to ensure reliability and scalability of complex reactor systems.

+ Engage in mechanical design and optimization using Solidworks software.

+ Troubleshoot and verify system performance, addressing any issues that arise.

+ Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of subsystems.

Essential Skills

+ Experience with system integration, performance testing, and mechanical design.

+ Proficiency in Solidworks.

+ Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.

+ 2 to 4 years of experience in related fields.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Strong with high voltage systems and requirements.

+ Knowledge of fluid systems and thermal management.

Work Environment

The role requires working onsite 5 days per week, offering an exciting opportunity to be involved in innovative projects within a dynamic setting. The position is available until November 6th.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Fremont, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $43.26 - $48.07/hr.
