Job Summary
Reporting directly to the Director of Smart Home Sales , the Sales Manager is high achieving, ambitious, and results oriented. We are seeking a qualified sales manager to help keep our revenue engine running through their own skill and the leadership of a team of driven sales representatives. Our ideal sales manager has in-depth knowledge of and experience with the sales process, excelling at lead generation, relationship building, and closing deals. We’re seeking a quick learner with strong negotiating skills, and someone with a track record of success who can inspire the same in others. The role demands a leader with a sharp mind and the ability to coach, advise, motivate, or replace sales representatives to create and maintain a high-performance sales force.
Essential Duties
+ Lead the outside sales team to reach sales targets by setting quotas, evaluating and adjusting performance, and developing processes that drive sales
+ Assess the strengths and weaknesses of the sales team and manage the sales program accordingly
+ Understand and leverage sales data and reports to drive the right behavior with the team
+ Managing recruiting, objectives setting, coaching and performance monitoring of sales representatives to achieve best in class performance.
+ Leads regular training & resource review to ensure all sales resources current and reflect best in class sales approaches
+ Analyzes individual performance data to identify opportunities, shortfalls. Partner with the sales lead to develop coaching strategies, making fact-based decisions accordingly.
+ As a primary contact point to the consumer, ensures the brand experience is well understood and portrayed by the sales team. Constantly reinforces brand values with the team to reflect back to the consumer.
+ Develop and maintain sales quality program to address all aspects of the member’s experience meet AAA’s standards and drive conversion performance
+ Develop and maintain sales program with attendant supporting materials training, seminars, reading materials, call flows, etc.
+ Drive adoption of the resources through effective change management & ongoing coaching at all levels
+ Ensures compliance with applicable rules and regulations
Knowledge and Skills
+ Education and Experience
+ Bachelor degree in related area or an equivalent combination of education and experience
+ MBA Preferred
+ Security industry and call center experience a strong plus
+ 6+ years of experience in fast paced operations (e.g., retail, call center, etc.)
+ 7+ years in management /leadership role
+ Demonstrated success hiring, managing and developing large & diverse high-performing teams

WORKING ENVIRONMENT / MINIMUM PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Works in an office environment sitting at a desk, table or computer workstation for extended periods of time. May travel by car, plane or other form of transportation to attend business meetings or conferences. Approximately 80 percent of the time spent on the job involves the use of a personal computer.
We target between minimum and midpoint of the range, and all offers are subject to a fair pay analysis - Compensation Range: Min: $129,234.00 - Mid: $161,542.00- Max: $193,849.00
