The County of Los Angeles Department of Consumer and Business Affairs invites applications for:
DEPUTY DIRECTOR, HOUSING AND TENANT PROTECTIONS BUREAU
Highly qualified candidates can submit their application starting September 22, 2025, at 8:00 AM. First consideration will be given to applications received beforeSeptember 29, 2025, at 5:00 PM. The filing period will remain open until filled.
The Department of Consumer and Business Affairs is seeking a well-qualified person to lead the Housing and Tenant Protections Bureau as the Deputy Director. The ideal candidate must have experience in successfully implementing changes that resulted intangible organizational improvements. The candidate must also possess the ability to identify and recognize solutions to challenges and the ability to offer constructive recommendations. Additionally, the ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building relationships with elected and appointed officials, community stakeholders, and staff from other departments within the County network or outside agencies.
