    Responsibilities

    + Keep building clean

    + Provide routine cleaning, sanitation and general upkeep

    + Clean, dust furniture, sweep, mop or vacuum floors

    + Empty/clean wastebaskets, trash containers, pick up recycled paper, replace light bulbs, and refill restroom dispensers.

    + Perform cleaning and related activities such as removing snow and debris from sidewalks

    + Keep inventory of all cleaning supplies and inform Office Manager

    + Prepare all meeting rooms and set up for programs, as directed

    + Clean glass doors and windows.

    + Clean gym floor as needed

    + Follow instructions regarding the use of chemicals and supplies. Use as directed.

    + Follow building sanitation procedures

    + Clean bathrooms daily.

    + Vacuum chapel weekly or as needed. Dust furnishings weekly

    + Clean kitchen as needed and instructed.

    + Move furniture, equipment and tools, as needed Open all locked offices to be cleaned, shut off coffee pots.

    + Perform other related duties within the scope of the position.

    Qualifications

    + High School Diploma or Equivalent

    + Able to lift up to 35 pounds

    + Experience in or ability to learn general building maintenance.

    + Flexibility and a cooperative spirit are crucial characteristics of the individual who holds this important position
