Job Description:
ITW Hartness is looking for motivated individuals to enter our technical scholar program with an interest in learning to work as a Mechanical/Electrical Technician in our Assembly team. At the successful completion of the program, you will have the mechanical and electrical skills to work with our state-of the art packaging equipment to complete complex mechanical and electrical assembly as well as perform diagnostic and functional testing.
The position will be based at our headquarters in Greenville, South Carolina.

+ Ability to troubleshoot and find the root cause of issues as well as think logically about solutions.
+ Critical thinking skills to diagnose problems and repair issues in an effective manner
+ Multitasking capability with ability to identify and execute priority tasks.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience
+ Be enrolled as a full-time student at a partnered High School Career Center or Technical College with ITW Hartness.
+ Have and maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA.
+ Working towards a High School Diploma or completion.
+ Interest in developing a strong mechanical/electrical background.
Physical Demands
+ The ability to stand or walk for 8-10 hours a day.
+ Capable of lifting 35 lbs.
+ Capable of bending, twisting, crouching, or kneeling.
