    _Our client, a growing food and snack manufacturer, is looking for a skilled QA Documentation Specialist to join their team in L.A County, CA!_

     

    **Job Title:** Quality Assurance Documentation Specialist

    **Job type** : Contract-to-hire; 6 months

     

    Pay rate: $24 - $25/hr.

     

    **Location:** L.A County, CA

    Schedule:

    + M-Th: 7:00 am to 3:30 pm

    + Fri: 5:00 am to 1:30 pm

    Position Summary

    Responsible for maintaining accurate, compliant, and confidential documentation to support quality assurance and regulatory requirements in a food manufacturing environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Review and verify production, QA, and sanitation forms for accuracy and completeness.

    + Ensure compliance with FDA, USDA, SQF, HACCP, GMP, allergen, and labeling regulations.

    + Organize and maintain documentation for audit readiness.

    + Assist with third-party audits and customer complaint investigations.

    + Support food safety and employee safety programs.

    + Maintain confidentiality and report any compliance issues promptly.

    + Perform other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    + Bachelor’s degree in Food Science or related field, or equivalent experience.

    + 2+ years in food manufacturing or QA documentation.

    + Knowledge of FDA/USDA regulations, allergen control, labeling standards, and ESHA Genesis.

    + Strong English communication skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office.

    + **Preferred:** Bilingual in English/Spanish.
