    Future Tech Enterprise, Inc. is seeking aDesktop / Network Technicianto provide computer, network, and technical support to our client. This is a full-time,on-siterole based inSyosset, NY, with occasional travel to nearby locations (within a five-mile radius).

     

    This is a full-time, on-site position. Work hours are from 8:30a -4:00p, M-F.

    What You'll Do:

    + Install, configure, and support network operating systems

    + Resolve workstation issues (PC and Mac)

    + Install, upgrade, and test industry-standard software and operating systems

    + Administer databases, internet/intranet systems, and maintain secure access across workstations

    + Configure, install, and maintain network switches

    + Support simple computer networks

    + Provide additional technical support across wireless networks, mobile devices, console controls, and peripheral equipment

    + Support other IT-related tasks and special projects as needed

    What You Bring:

    + 3 years of technical support experience in a professional setting

    + Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle (local travel required)

    + Network+ and CCNA certifications preferred

    + Strong troubleshooting skills in an enterprise environment

    + Excellent communication and customer service skills

    + Experience working in education environments is a plus
