Job Description Summary

The Foreman is responsible for supporting and overseeing the daily operations of internal GEV Onshore Wind teams and third-party contractors on our services sites, primarily focusing in the Uptower Repair space. This role demands a strong emphasis on safety, efficiency, and coordination with the overall O&M services team. The Foreman will ensure all O&M operations are conducted in compliance with industry standards, company policies, and local regulations in coordination with Services leadership and Project Managers.

Job Description

Responsibilities

+ **Safety Management:**

+ Enforce strict adherence to all safety protocols, including OSHA regulations and company safety policies.

+ Conduct daily safety inspections of the equipment and work area.

+ Identify and address potential safety hazards promptly.

+ Implement and maintain a safe work environment for all personnel.

+ **Operations Management:**

+ Coordinate and supervise all activities on the active site.

+ Develop and implement efficient operation plans.

+ Manage 3rd party contractors’ equipment and teams.

+ Ensure timely completion of O&M related tasks according to project schedule.

+ Communicate effectively with project management and other stakeholders.

+ **Quality Control:**

+ Verify that all operations are performed to the highest quality standards.

+ Inspect work for accuracy and compliance with project specifications and work instructions.

+ Address quality issues promptly and effectively.

+ **Personnel Management:**

+ Oversee the performance of crane operators and other crew members.

+ Provide guidance as needed.

+ Address performance issues and escalate disciplinary actions as required.

+ **Documentation:**

+ Create and/or maintain accurate and complete records of operations, inspections, and maintenance to company standards.

+ Prepare daily and weekly reports on activities and performance.

Qualifications

+ Associate’s degree in a technician discipline (OR High School Diploma/GED with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a manufacturing, industrial, wind or related industry)

+ Minimum 2 years’ experience as technical support or operator in a manufacturing, industrial, wind or related industry **Eligibility Requirements:**

+ Full-time travel (~80%) to and from wind sites throughout North America

+ Physical ability to perform job duties, including lifting, climbing, and standing for extended periods.

+ This position may require working irregular hours, including weekends and holidays.

+ **Desired**

+ Proven experience as a foreman in the services industry.

+ In-depth knowledge of safety regulations, crane operations, and industry best practices.

+ Strong leadership and communication skills.

+ Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.

+ Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

The base pay range for this position is 72,400.00 - 90,500.00 USD Annual. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This posting is expected to close on 10/19/25 _._
