    We’re seeking a driven and detail-oriented professional to join our team in a pivotal role that blends strategic analysis with hands-on contract oversight. In this role, you'll take the lead on developing and monitoring departmental solicitations and term contracts that support various divisions. You'll also provide critical contract administration support and play a key role in sourcing goods and services in support of the General Services Department.

    About This Role

    Administrative Agent Duties:

    + Contract Oversight & Compliance: Manages GS Facilities, Fleet, Mail/Print, and Warehouse contracts, ensuring contractor compliance with specifications and quality standards while building strong vendor relationships.

    + Solicitation Development Support: Collaborates with management to identify business needs and assist with bids, RFPs, RPSs, and quotes.

    + Contract Management: Oversees multiple term contracts, including budgeting, purchase review, spending analysis, amendments, and management reporting.

    + Procurement Partnership: Works with Procurement to draft specifications, prepare bids, attend vendor meetings, and support full contract development and execution.

    + Procurement Knowledge & Ethics: Applies expertise in cooperative purchasing, sole/single sourcing, and waivers; supports ethical and transparent contracting practices.

    Contracts and Budget Team Duties:

    + Lead Internal Purchasing Processes: Oversees and supports contract and purchasing workflows, including purchase requests, change orders, invoices, and P-Card systems.

    + Team Guidance & Liaison Role: Mentors Contracts & Budget Team members and ensures consistent purchasing practices across General Services.

    + Procurement Support: Assists with quotes, insurance updates, and purchase requisitions.

    + Relationship Building: Develops strong internal and external partnerships, including vendor relations.

    + Process Improvement & Implementation: Supports business process improvements and executes directives from leadership.

     

    Work Hours : Monday - Friday, 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

    About You

    + Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in information management, mathematics, business administration, data analytics , or related fields AND two (2) years of job-related experience.

    + -OR- Six ( 6) years of professional job-related experience can be substituted at management discretion for the required education.

    + A valid Florida driver's license at the time of hire.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Contract management and procurement experience.

    + Advance experience with Microsoft Excel.

     

    Subject to Passing Substance Screening: This position is subject to passing a pre-employment substance screening. An applicant who fails to pass a required drug screening test shall be disqualified from employment in any class for a period of five (5) years.

    About Everything Else:

    Starting Pay Range: $56,139.20 - $60,008.00 /annually, based on your experience.
