• Rehabilitation Tech Part-Time

    Chestnut Hill is in search of a REHAB TECH to Perform routine treatments and other therapy support activities as directed by the Rehabilitation Director and/or supervising therapist; provides administrative support including recordkeeping, maintenance of files, reports and monthly billing information; and general office duties as directed by the RD.

     

    Essential Job Responsibilities

     

    • Supports and /or stabilizes patients to assist the therapist during treatment, tests and evaluations

    • Assists licensed therapists or assistants during administration of non-skilled treatment as directed

    • Safeguards, motivates and assists patients practicing exercises, functional activities and gait training

    • Transports residents to and from the therapy area

    • Assists in maintaining therapy area in a clean, orderly and safe manner.

    • Performs miscellaneous clerical duties as directed by the Rehabilitation Director including sorting and distributing in-coming and out-going mail, recordkeeping, obtaining appropriate signatures on required records, answering telephone, taking and delivering messages

    • Prepares weekly and monthly billing as directed by the Rehabilitation Director

    • Prepares daily/weekly/monthly reports; admission and discharge records; evaluation/documentation packets

    Qualifications:

    • Completion of secondary education (high school)

    • Good communication skills

    • Self motivated
