About the Position

The Temporary Therapist is a Master's or Doctoral-level trained psychotherapist and is a member of the clinical team. The Counseling & Wellness Center is committed to upholding equity in mental health.

The Temporary Therapist provides culturally-informed therapy, consultation, supervision, and outreach and works to promote well-being and health within the university.

Required Qualifications

+ Master’s or doctoral degree in clinical or counseling psychology, clinical social work, or related mental health field.

+ Ability to provide brief and focused counseling.

+ Demonstrated competency working with diverse populations.

+ Experience providing risk assessment and crisis response.

+ Experience working as a part of a collaborative, team-based approach to clinical services in a fast- paced work setting.

Preferred Qualifications

+ CACREP-accredited, CSWE-accredited, or APA-accredited graduate program (as applicable).

+ Minimum of one-year experience working in a college or university counseling center (practicum/internship may be included).

+ Fully licensed as a mental health counselor, clinical social worker, or marriage and family therapist in the State of Washington by start of position (please specify license type and number).

Salary$39.00 - $42.00/hour depending on experience
