The facility plays a critical role in strategic growth, leveraging advanced technology and expanding capabilities for customer growth. Work with Hershey leadership and 3PL partners to maintain equipment reliability and drive innovation. Responsibilities * Install, troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, and monitor electrical and mechanical automated systems * Complete accurate, timely, and thorough job documentation * Read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical diagrams * Maintain continuous system operation and respond to machine alarms * Collaborate with external suppliers and internal teams * Cross-train peers and update system manuals * Serve as Hershey Maintenance representative on the production floor * Propose and implement corrective actions and continuous improvements * Utilize SAP for maintenance tasks and documentation Minimum Education and Experience Requirements * 3–5+ years of maintenance experience in military or industrial settings, ideally within complex manufacturing environments * Strong troubleshooting skills (mechanical & electrical) * Familiarity with Allen Bradley PLCs and Studio 5000 (preferred) * Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams * Proficiency in Microsoft Office and willingness to learn new systems * Associate’s Degree or Technical Certificate in Mechatronics or related field (preferred) * Ability to lift up to 100 pounds with a team and perform physical tasks * Requires successful completion of pre-employment skills assessments Work Environment * Climate-controlled food manufacturing facility * Safety-first culture with Lockout-Tagout (LOTO) procedures * Use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) required The Hershey Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
