• CNC Mechanic

    Position Summary

    We are seeking a highly skilled and self-motivated CNC Mechanic with at least 5 years of experience in CNC machine repair and service. The ideal candidate will be independent, detail-oriented, and willing to work weekends as needed. Strong knowledge of OKUMA, Mori Seiki, Haas, and Fanuc controls is required.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform preventative maintenance routines on all milling machines.

    + Remove and replace spent oil/coolant, drain basins, and refill all machine fluids.

    + Troubleshoot and repair machines to ensure proper operation and minimal downtime.

    + Read and interpret wiring schematics and blueprints.

    + Size, bend, and install conduit; size and pull wires as needed.

    + Train and cross-train co-workers, and assist in developing work procedures.

    + Participate in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

    + Conduct safety audits, report findings, and correct issues promptly.

    + Assist with maintaining the machine shop in good working order and proper housekeeping standards.

    + Other duties as may be necessary from time to time.

    Qualifications

    + Minimum 5 years of CNC repair and service experience.

    + Strong working knowledge of OKUMA, Mori Seiki, Haas, and Fanuc controls.

    + Ability to read and interpret technical documents, schematics, and blueprints.

    + Skilled in electrical work, including conduit and wiring.

    + Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.

    + Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

    + Willingness to work weekends as required.
